Prices and Currency

All prices displayed on Staey.com include VAT (where applicable) and are shown in your local currency based on your location.

Currency conversions are calculated automatically at checkout using current exchange rates.

Prices are updated regularly and are subject to change without prior notice.

Payment

You can pay securely using the following methods:

  • Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express

  • Apple Pay & Google Pay (via Shopify Payments)

  • PayPal

All payments are processed at the time of purchase.

Transactions are encrypted and handled through secure payment gateways (Shopify Payments and PayPal).

We do not charge any additional card fees.

Shipping and Delivery

We ship orders from our warehouse in Denmark every working day.

Orders placed before 14:00 CET are typically shipped the same day.

Delivery time:

  • Denmark: 1–2 business days

  • EU countries: 2–4 business days

  • UK and other non-EU countries: 3–7 business days (depending on customs clearance)

Delivery times are estimates and may vary slightly depending on destination and carrier.

Shipping rates:

Shipping costs depend on your country and selected carrier.

Free shipping thresholds and available options are shown at checkout.

Please note:

For non-EU countries (including the UK, Norway, and Switzerland), deliveries are made DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) – meaning local duties, import taxes or handling fees may apply upon delivery. These are the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged Parcels or Items

If your parcel arrives damaged, please check it before signing for delivery.

If the packaging or item is visibly damaged, please report it immediately to the courier and note the damage on your delivery receipt.

We recommend taking photos of both the packaging and the damaged item before unpacking, and contacting us as soon as possible at mail@staey.dk.

Legal Warranty (Claims)

All products purchased on Staey.com are covered by a 2-year legal warranty in accordance with EU consumer law.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that were present at the time of delivery.

It does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorized repairs.

If you experience an issue with your item, please contact us at mail@staey.dk with your order number and photos of the defect.

We may in some cases resolve your claim without requiring the product to be returned.

Right of Withdrawal and Returns

We offer a 30-day Right to Cancel. This means you have 30 days to cancel your order and an additional 14 days to return the goods after notifying us of your cancellation.

If you wish to return an item, it must be sent back within 14 days after you’ve notified us of your decision to return.

Return conditions

  • Items must be returned in original condition and packaging.

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the product is faulty or incorrect).

  • If the returned product has been used or handled beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, or functioning, a value deduction may apply.

Exceptions

The following products cannot be returned:

  • Items that are sealed for hygiene or health protection reasons, if the seal has been broken after delivery.

  • Personalized or custom-made products.

Free gifts and bundle offers

If you return an order that included a free gift or “2-for-1” campaign, all related products must be returned together.

Alternatively, you may keep the gift and receive a refund minus its value.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase within 5 business days after we receive and process your return.

If a parcel is not collected or delivery is refused, a return fee of €6.50 will be deducted from your refund.
