It is unlined, making it perfect as a transitional jacket while maintaining its functionality and stylish design. The belly section is made from a practical fabric that can be easily wiped clean.
Thanks to the wide velcro straps on both sides and around the chest, the jacket can be quickly and easily put on without the hassle of pulling it over the head. Additionally, the jacket can be adjusted to fit your dog’s size perfectly.

Washing Instructions:
Close all zippers and velcro straps. Wash on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees with low spin. Use mild detergent and no fabric softener.
Dry flat on a drying rack.

The story behind it
Why I designed it
Winter walks used to feel like a compromise. Either your dog was cold – or bundled in gear that didn’t fit or didn’t last. We wanted something better. A coat that was truly warm, easy to put on, and didn’t clash with the rest of your carefully chosen gear. Something that felt like a real jacket – not just for dogs, but for the life you live together.
What it took to get it right
We tested version after version: adjusting fit, refining fabrics. We swapped zippers, replaced linings, and rethought how the coat fastens – until we had something that worked. Not just in the studio, but out in the real world.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
