Description
DescriptionMake every car ride calm, safe, and comfortable for your dog with the Staey Tova 2-in-1 Car Seat XL. Tova XL is thoughtfully designed to serve as both a secure travel seat and a cozy travel bed — now with extra room, giving your dog a soft, familiar place to stretch out and rest, whether you're on a short trip around town or a longer adventure.
The seat attaches easily to your car via straps that loop over the headrests on both sides, keeping Tova XL securely in place throughout the journey. For added peace of mind, a small loop at the back of the seat allows you to thread the seatbelt through — creating an extra layer of safety for your dog.
Crafted from soft, premium fabric in a natural tone, Tova XL brings warmth and texture to every journey. The cozy material isn't just beautiful — it creates a snug, comforting space that helps your dog feel at home, even on the road.

The story behind it
Why I designed it
I've always believed that traveling with your dog should feel natural, not stressful. I wanted to create a seat that offered more than just safety — something that felt truly comfortable, like your dog's own little haven on the road. Tova is designed for the dog that comes everywhere with you. The one who deserves a soft, secure space — whether you're running errands or heading somewhere new. A seat that works just as well as a travel bed, so there's no need to bring two things when one does it all.
What it took to get it right
Finding the right fabric was everything. The fabric had the texture and warmth I was looking for — soft enough to feel like a bed, and beautiful enough to belong in any car. The strap system needed to feel intuitive: loop over the headrests, secure on both sides, done. And the seatbelt loop at the back had to be positioned just right — genuinely adding safety without getting in the way. Every small detail was tested, adjusted, and refined until Tova felt exactly as it should.
Why customers love it
The Tova 2-in-1 Car Seat makes every journey feel calmer and cozier for your dog. It's soft enough to nap in and secure enough to feel safe — and it sets up in seconds. The strap-over-headrest design keeps it firmly in place, while the seatbelt loop gives you that extra peace of mind. Whether it's a short trip or a long one, Tova gives your dog a familiar, comfortable place to settle in and relax.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
